United Nations Climate Conference COP27 NOV 2022

At the Conference of the Parties (COP 27), countries come together to take action toward achieving the world’s collective climate goals as agreed under the Paris Agreement and the Convention.

196 created and executed a week of high-level events for leaders and heads of state while advancing and assuring that the United States Congressional delegation hosted by CCF both safely arrived and moved throughout the city while attending the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.

196 designed and produced a welcome reception featuring remarks by Ambassador Majid Al-Suwaidi, UAE COP28 Director General, a CCF signature reception with local gastronomy, morning global dialogues, fireside chats, bi-lateral meetings, and unique experiences aligned with the conference themes and country’s traditions.

196 provided concierge services, including travel arrangements, hotel negotiations on group pricing, on-the-ground security, and transportation support to ensure ease throughout the week.

The Conservative Climate Foundation (CCF) brought a Delegation of 6 Members of Congress and 15 House and Senate staff to Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, in 2022 for COP27, the annual United Nations Climate Change Conference. Simply put, a trip of this magnitude (and unique location) was nearly as smooth with the 196 teams. From advancing the entire trip, to project managing the many, constantly changing pieces along the way, to producing beautiful events on the ground, the 196 team felt like true partners throughout the entire project. Moreover, the Congressional Delegation noticed and greatly appreciated how logistically sound and organized the entire trip was – a huge nod to Patty and her team.
